Designed for large venue installation applications, the Vivitek D6500 and D6000 feature dual-lamp switching technology, and interchangeable lenses and color wheels to enhance demanding video application.

The Vivitek D6500 offers a contrast ratio of 3000:1, native XGA (1024x768) resolution and 6500 lumens of brightness; while the D6000 has a brightness of 6000 lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio and native WXGA (1280x768) resolution. Both the Vivitek D6500 and D6000 are ideal solutions for the large venue installation marketplace. The D6500 and D6000 digital projectors offer on-board, dual-lamps with switching technology to enable brilliant picture quality. The dual-lamps work to create a brighter picture. With the Dual-Lamp Switching Mode, both the D6500 and D6000 are ensured to continue working should one lamp go down. The projectors automatically switch to single lamp operation mode preventing any interruption during use. The single lamp life of the projectors is extended to 2,500 hours using Eco-Mode. With switchable four (4)–and six (6)–segment color wheels, the user can optimize presentations by adding brightness or details.

Both projectors have a variety of connectivity options that are located on a single side of the projector for easy access. The projector's I/O ports include DVI-D(HDCP), Component, BNC, VGA, Composite, S-Video, Audio RCA stereo and Audio mini-jack. The D6500 and D6000 produce vivid digital images that won't fade or degrade over time through Texas Instruments' DLP® chipset and BrilliantColor™ technology.

The Vivitek D6500 and D6000 are built to comply with stringent RoHS standards and equipped with power saving features and low-power operation modes. Vivitek offers four optional short–and long–throw bayonet lenses designed for quick release and ceiling installations.

Pricing, Availability, Warranty
The Vivitek D6500 and D6000 are available through authorized Vivitek dealers and distributors at street prices of $6,999 and $7,999, respectively. Both projectors carry a three (3)-year parts and labor warranty and a 90-day lamp warranty.
